Notice of bid opportunity - Strategic Projects Support

The Washington State Department of Transportation (“WSDOT”) is issuing this Competitive Solicitation pursuant to RCW 39.26. Pursuant to this Competitive Solicitation, WSDOT intends to conduct a competitive procurement to award an Agency Contract for WSDOT to purchase Strategic Projects Support.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) requires immediate and specialized consultant support to align with the strategic priorities set by the newly appointed Secretary of Transportation, Julie Meredith, and the Ferguson Administration. This support is essential for the timely initiation and delivery of key strategic initiatives, proactive risk management, adaptive leadership practices, and enhanced departmental integration.
Assistance is needed to develop and implement plans, facilitate workgroups, support agency-wide reorganization, and collaborate with leadership to realign maintenance and preservation programs. The consultant will also aid in strategic projects, policy development, and external relations, ensuring the agency's structure aligns with its strategic goals amid current funding constraints.
