Intent to Sole Source Notice RT3

The 5th Contracting Squadron in Minot Air Force Base, ND, intends to award a single source purchase order to provide the reinstallation and configuration of an RT3 unit. There is only one company capable of fulfilling this requirement due to not outsourcing the work on the system because of the proprietary equipment and extensive specialist installation training needed.

The statutory authority that permits awarding this contract using other than full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The anticipated award date is after 11 September 2025. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide a repair service for the RT3 system. The deadline for the submittals is 11 September 2025 at 11 am Central Standard Time.

A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
