Description
BLM-CO RGFO KERR GULCH CATTLEGUARD REPLACEMENT

This is a solicitation announcement for a cattleguard replacement expansion project located at the Bureau of Land Management at Kerr Gulch Road in Fremont County, Colorado. Kerr Gulch is approximately 4 miles Howard, CO off of Highway 50.

Socio-economic Categories: While this procurement remains a competitive Total Small Business Set-Aside, the BLM highly encourages and welcomes quotes from all sub-categories of small business such as Small Disadvantaged, Woman Owned, Service Disabled Veteran, HUBZone, 8a, and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises.

1.1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to remove existing 16 by 8 foot steel cattleguard and replace with a new 20 by 8 foot steel cattleguard. Work includes excavation and removal and legal disposal (including recycling of steel and other products where available).

1.2 LOCATION
Work under this Contract is performed at the entrance of Kerr Gulch Road from Highway US-50, located near Howard, Colorado. The project location is at latitude: 38°24'43.4"N, longitude: 105°47'28.0"W and is approximately 3.8 miles East of Howard. The work locations are shown on the drawings and attached maps.

1.3 WORK SCHEDULE
Work shall be completed between September 8, 2025 - December 30, 2025. Work is not allowed on Federal holidays. Work shall occur Monday through Friday. Contract time will be paused, upon request, when snow or snowmelt prevents work at the project site.

Period of Performance: September 8, 2025 - December 30, 2025.
