Cement Concrete Slab for 123 Milk St. Veteran’s memorial Park

The City of Methuen’s Recreation Department, a division of the Department of Public Works is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the installation of a Cement Concrete Slab (pad) located at 123 Milk St. Veteran’s memorial park for an outdoor fitness court . Specifications and bid forms may be obtained on or after Wednesday, March 25, 2026 via download www.methuen.gov/ purchasing.  All potential bidders must be registered as a plan holder through this link.

All bids must be made out in Duplicate, either typed or printed in ink. The bids must be filled out and signed as directed therein, sealed in an envelope plainly marked “Cement Concrete Slab- 123 Milk St. Recreation Dept” addressed to the Office of the City Clerk, Searles Building, 41 Pleasant Street- Rm. 112, Methuen, MA 01844, and endorsed with the name, address of bidder. Sealed Bids must be received by the City Clerk no later than Monday, April 13, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. local time.

Bids filled out and left with the deposit as above directed, and no other, will be opened at Methuen City Hall on the 3 ^rd floor (Great Hall), 41 Pleasant Street, Methuen, MA 01844 on Monday, April 13, 2026 @11:00 AM.  The City of Methuen reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding if it is deeded to be in the best interest for the City to do so.

No Bid may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of bids.

The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30 § 39M.
