REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES
Grand County is accepting proposals for the following professional civil engineering services to be provided on an as-needed basis:

Serves in the capacity as County Engineer and represents the Board of County Commissioners in all applicable engineering matters, as requested and on an as-needed basis.

Works closely with County Manager and Road & Bridge Department, as needed, on traffic analysis, road projects, engineering plans and projects, drainage plans and projects, Road & Bridge Standards, long-term road maintenance planning and comprehensive cost analysis, dewatering, landfill / solid waste, dewatering projects, airports, fairgrounds, etc.

Works closely with Community Development, as needed, and provides review of subdivision related engineering and drainage plans in compliance with County Regulations and Engineering Standards; reviews and provides acceptance of completed subdivision improvements.
Proposals must include:

Hourly rates for all personnel and all applicable reimbursement rates/costs.

Experience providing professional engineering services to Local Government.

Examples of Local Government projects.
Bid shall be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2024. Successful Consultant shall enter into a Services Contract with Grand County by December 9, 2024. The term of the contract will be for a 3-year period beginning January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2027.
This RFP may be cancelled at any time without prior notice at the discretion of the Board of County Commissioners of Grand County. Any or all proposals may be rejected in whole or in part, without liability, if determined to be in the best interest of Grand County.
Grand County seeks a qualified and experienced Engineer that will provide the best value and fit the needs of Grand County. Therefore, the low bid may not be the winning bid.
Grand County reserves the right to request clarification of information submitted and to request additional information for any proposal.
