The UPS delivery charges for the plans and specifications will be billed to the bidder’s company UPS account number provided.

The bid due date is April 1, 2026 and bids must be date stamped no later than 11:59

a.m. that day.

A copy of the sign-in sheet from the pre-bid meeting is attached.

Answers to questions received by the last day for questions:

1. Under Section 01 29 00 Measurement and Payment. Paragraph 1.3 Payment Items in

Volume 2, Part D - Technical Specifications; the Bid Item Subparagraphs on Pages 1

through 10 specify that Repair of pavement is included in the Bid Item Scope of Work,

this includes the Wate main, Hydrants, Water Service Connections, Valves, Catch Basins

& VCP, and Sewer Laterals. Beginning on page 33 with Item 611A Pipe Culverts,

Sewers, and Drains; Pavement repair is not specified in work included, nor is it specified

in plans sheets 87 or 88. Is repair of pavement to be included in the Item Price for Pipe

Culverts, Sewers, and Drains?

Answer: Pavement repair is included under water main items (bid items 12-21; drawings

sheet 8). Pavement repair is not included for sewer work to avoid double-counting.

Water main and sewer main work should occur prior to final pavement restoration.

2. Plan sheets 72-82 for the Restoration Plan, the shaded areas depicted for Trench

Restoration Limits contradicts the requirement for 2' cutbacks an each side of the trench

per Restoration Details VIII an plans sheet 152 and Pavement and Walks note 10.

"WHERE LESS THAN 2' OF PAVEMENT WILL REMAIN BETWEEN CURB AND TRENCH

OVERCUT LIMITS, CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE AND REPLACE FULL DEPTH

PAVEMENT TO CURB. THIS SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE COST BID PER LINEAR FOOT

OF WATER MAIN." an plans sheet 4. Recommend the shaded area an the restoration

sheets either conform to the detailed requirement in scale or be removed from sheets

72-82.
