Master Planning and Design for Site Redevelopment and River Restoration at the Watonwan River Safety Rest Area

Brief description: MnDOT requests proposals for the development of a Master Plan and the preparation a preferred conceptual layout for the Watonwan River Safety Rest Area (SRA) located in Watonwan County on Trunk Highway (TH) 60 near St. James. Prior to the preferred conceptual layout being developed, three conceptual layouts will be created concurrently, screened together and weighted for a final selection. The final selected concept will be developed into a 30% construction document level plan set. As part of this contract, additional environmental planning work and permitting related to river restoration will run concurrently to the plan development and design.
