Flexible Assertive Community Treatment Adult Teams Round 2

The New York State Office of Mental Health announces the availability of funding for 12 Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams as follows:

• One (1) 68-capacity team expanding to 100-capacity team in Hudson River
• One (1) 68-capacity team expanding to 100-capacity team in Central New York
• One (1) 68-capacity team expanding to 100-capacity team in Western New York
• One (1) 68-capacity team expanding to 100-capacity team in Long Island
• Eight (8) 68-capacity teams expanding to 100-capacity teams throughout New York City (NYC)

The Flexible ACT teams will serve individuals who have serious mental illness and are not successfully engaged by the traditional mental health treatment system. The teams build on the evidence-based model of ACT by enhancing flexibility in the delivery of services, tailoring them to meet each individual’s changing needs. The addition of Flexible ACT represents a commitment by OMH to ensure mental health services evolve to better meet the needs of a population most disengaged in care.

There will be a Bidders’ Conference held on April 22, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Prospective Proposers’ participation in these conferences is highly encouraged, but not mandatory. The purpose of the Bidders’ Conference is to:

• Provide description of the program requirements;
• Explain the RFP process; and
• Answer any questions.
