Scope of work: Coordinate with an already selected boom and surgical light provider/installer, and perform all med-gas and electrical connections as phased work as indicated in the documents.

All work on this Contract is to be completed within/by within 170 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed

Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding may ONLY be obtained from Plan and Print Systems, Inc. ( Plan & Print Systems Inc. | Large Format Printing, Print Equipment & Supplies ). Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a non-refundable deposit check in the amount of $49.50 made payable to SUNY Upstate Medical University , is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses.

(Under SFL 143 the campus has the option to waive the deposit requirement where bid documents “are made available and obtained electronically or in any non-paper form by the agency”. If the campus wishes to waive the deposit for all bidders, delete the above paragraph).

No pre-bid conference and project walk-through will be held. No individual walk?throughs will be provided. Photographs of the site or a video walk though can be made available in an addendum is requested.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The selected contractor must comply with M/WBE goals. State University of New York goals are: 17% MBE and 13% WBE participation of the total contract value. State University of New York also has a goal for the Work Force participation: EEO 10% WBE and EEO 10% MBE of total work force on the project.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
