Ice Machine Descaling/Cleaning & Maintenance

The facility currently has 22 ice machines that require quarterly preventative maintenance inspections, cleaning, descaling and sanitation. The ice machines are located throughout two buildings where patients and residents reside. Each ice machine has a water filtration system that the CONTRACTOR is not responsible for replacing filters. The FACILITY is responsible for the filter changes. This contract must adhere to NYS DOL Prevailing Wage requirements. The time of cleanings will be coordinated between the CONTRACTOR and FACILITY so there is no disruption to the mealtimes of patients and residents. If the FACILITY adds ice machines or replaces ice machines throughout the terms of the contract, the CONTRACTOR will be notified when scheduling for the PM.
