JACKSON COUNTY PORT AUTHORITY
General Notice:
The Jackson County Port Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
PUMP 5 & PUMP 6 UPGRADES AT THE
INDUSTRIAL WATER PLANT
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by the Jackson County Port Authority located at 3033
Pascagoula Street, Pascagoula, Mississippi 39567, until Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. local time and
will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
The Project generally includes replacement of the existing pump motors from 500 horsepower to 700
horsepower utilizing the existing frames, increasing the impeller sizes utilizing the existing pump
housings, and replacement of any wear parts (bearings, seals, etc.). The electrical cables leading to the
switchgear will need to be replaced, as well as some upgrades to the switchgear.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: PUMP 5 & PUMP 6 UPGRADES AT THE INDUSTRIAL

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders must register with the
designated website as a plan holder. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. The
designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other
information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding
Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for
Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. All bid
documents must be purchased through the website. The cost of bid documents is non-refundable. For information
