    in Buncombe County
    The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for permanent repairs to Bridge 413
    over Dillingham Creek on SR-2174 (Williams Branch Rd) and Bridge 146 over Stony Fork Creek on SR-
    2173 (Dillingham Rd) in Buncombe County to be let at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
    The availability date for this project is February 16, 2026.
    The completion date for this project is May 8, 2026.
    Bids for this project must be submitted electronically. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders in the
    proposal for more information.
    Firms that wish to perform work on Division Purchase Order Contracts as either the prime contractor or
    as a subcontractor on the project must be prequalified for the type work they wish to perform. Firms that
    wish to bid on these projects as the prime contractor must be prequalified prior to submitting your bid.
    Firms that wish to perform as a subcontractor to the prime contractor must be prequalified prior to
    beginning work on the project.
    Any firm that wishes to bid as a prime contractor shall be prequalified as a Bidder or PO Prime
    Contractor prior to submitting a bid. Information regarding prequalification can be found at:

    The North Carolina Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the
    Civil Rights of 1964 (78 Stat.252) and the Regulations of the Department of Transportation (49 C.F.R.,
    Part 21), issued pursuant to such act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the
    contract entered into pursuant to this notice will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without
    discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, color, or national origin.
    New requirement effective all lettings June 1, 2022 and later: Bidders must be registered on the
    Interested Parties List to be prequalified to bid no later than one business day prior to the advertised
