SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION FOR NEB/BESSEY NURSERY FUMIGATION SUPPLIES - 2025

This is a Sources Sought notice only. It is not a request for quotes and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. The Government will not provide any reimbursement for responses submitted in response to this Source Sought notice. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The purpose of this announcement is to perform Market Research to gain knowledge of potential qualified service-disabled veteran owned businesses and their size classification relative to NAICS 325320, with a size standard 1,150 employees.

The USDA Forest Service is seeking to identify any SDVOB capable of providing fumigation supplies for the Nebraska National Forest/Bessey Nursery per the specifications attached to this notice. This Sources Sought notice provides an opportunity for respondents to submit their capability and availability to provide the requirement described below.

MBC-33 (200 lb bottles), Fumigant consisting of 67% methyl, bromide and 33% chloropicrin in unpressurized cylinders. Net weight of cylinders to be 250 lbs. (200 lbs of product in a 50 lb cylinder).

Polyfilm- Clear polyethylene 1.5 mil thickness, in rolls approximately 2000 ft. long by 10 ½ ft wide, on one piece hollow core without folding. Core to be 3 inch interior dimension. Material must be packaged in individual cartons or other suitable manner to avoid damage. Product needs to be banded or shrink wrapped on pallets for shipping.

Spray Glue - Polyethylene adhesive (Slocomb S-5325), 27-30 gallon drums (S-%135)

Bron White-easy tear tape Size 72MM x 55M

Basamid Granular-[50 lb bags] - active ingredient -- Dazomet 99%

Vendors are encouraged to submit information relative to their capabilities to fulfill this requirement, in the form of a statement that addresses the specific requirement/specifications identified in this Sources Sought.

Information received from this Sources Sought shall be utilized to facilitate the Contracting Officer s review of the market base, for acquisition planning, size determination, and procurement strategy.

Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.

Parties may submit additional information related to their capabilities, provided it contains all the requirements contained in the Specifications. Responses to this Sources Sought shall not exceed 2 pages. In addition, all submissions should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.
