Emergency Sanitary/ Storm Sewer Jetting Services

The City of El Mirage (“City”) is soliciting qualified proposals from experienced and licensed firms to provide an emergency sanitary and storm sewer jetting services. The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to identify one or more qualified firms capable of delivering rapid-response jetting services in a safe, reliable, and cost-effective manner.

As part of this RFP process, the City will establish unit prices for labor, equipment, materials, and septage disposal fees, which will remain in effect for the duration of the contract. The City intends to award one (1) contract.

The City owns and maintains approximately 50 miles of sanitary sewer mains and 20 miles of storm sewer lines. Much of the City’s sewer system was installed prior to the year 2000. The City operates an active sewer repair and replacement program, along with a routine CCTV inspection program.

Despite routine maintenance, conditions periodically arise requiring immediate jetting to resolve blockages or restore flow. Emergency response capability is therefore critical.

This contract will be for a three-year term, with a fixed not-to-exceed contract amount. Services will be provided on an as-needed, emergency basis, with work authorized only through City-issued requests.

In accordance with City of El Mirage Procurement Code, proposals for Emergency Sanitary/ Storm Sewer Jetting Services will be received by the City of El Mirage Purchasing Administrator at the specified location until 9:00 am .on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 . Proposals received by the correct date and time shall be considered. Proposals shall be in the actual possession of the City of El Mirage Administration on or prior to the exact date and time indicated above. Late proposals will not be considered, except as provided in the City of El Mirage Procurement Code. Proposals shall be electronically submitted via the City's eProcurement Portal.
