Project Description: This project includes the demolition and replacement of a single-story service building that houses plumbing equipment critical to air service at the airport. Demolition will require soil stabilization immediately adjacent to an active passenger boarding bridge pier and foundation and an active gate. The project will include new apron paving, replacement of apron lighting, and underground utilities. The new building construction will be a combination of insulated and non-insulated precast concrete wall panels and plank with non-operable windows, insulated hollow metal doors and frames, fast acting overhead door, triturator and other pumps, air handling unit, unit heater, exhaust ventilation, mechanical controls, lighting, electrical sub-panels, low voltage sensors and security equipment, and built up roofing system.
