Description
Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), VA Medical Center, 500 Foothill Dr. (VAMCSLC), 500 Foothill Dr., Salt Lake City, Utah 84148 has a requirement for Compass s Dermatopathology Consultative Services. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract for one base period with four optional renewal periods. The Contractor shall furnish labor and facilities to provide Dermatopathology Consultation Services for the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System (VASLCHCS), Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) Department.
The VASLCHCS, P&LMS Department will cut, and stain\dermatopathology slides, and send the slides to the contractor for dermatopathology consultative services, on cases requiring a second opinion from experts specializing in Dermatopathology (tests showing a possible pathology such as cancer). Unstained and stained slides may be sent to contractor. All slides stained and unstained are property of the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System (VASLCHCS), Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) Department and should be returned to the VASLCHCS. Services will be required for a base year beginning June 1, 2025, through May 31, 2030, and four (4) inclusive one-year options thereafter.
Schedule of Services
These services will be provided Monday through Friday from 0800 to 1630 Mountain Standard Time (MST). The contractor is not required to provide services for Federal holidays or weekends. The Test Description Menu for these services are as follows:
