Description of goods to services to be bid:

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is reissuing this solicitation with updated Proposal Requirements, to establish a pool of qualified service providers to develop and implement quality initiatives in support of several Clean Energy Technologies and NYSERDA programs as outlined in the Clean Energy Fund Compiled Investment Plan Market Development Portfolio including: NY-Sun (Residential and Nonresidential, Commercial and Industrial and Floating PV), Energy Storage (Retail and Large Scale Renewable Bulk), Appliance Upgrade Program, and Broad experience across Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Building Electrification, and Demand Reduction.

Qualified service providers as a result of this solicitation will work with the NYSERDA Quality and Market Standards Team to conduct field inspections, photo inspections and desk review services, implement existing and upcoming standards (technical, installation, data, and quality standards) and support market-based quality assurance strategies. Proposers qualified under this solicitation will be established as a “Quality Service Provider” (QSP), instrumental in helping NYSERDA to make quality a competitive determinant in enhancing contractor performance, building consumer and investor confidence in programs and initiatives, and accelerating the adoption of clean energy solutions in New York.

Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences:

Interested proposers may submit their qualifications to support either one or a combination of all Service Categories and may submit bids for multiple technology areas:
1) Service Category 1: Field Inspections, Photo Inspections and Desk Review Services
2) Service Category 2: Technical Assistance and Standards Development Support Services
3) Service Category 3: Data Collection and Management System Support Services. NYSERDA will qualify a pool of contractors to provide NYSERDA with diverse technical experience of collecting and performing data management within the program/technology areas listed in the solicitation.
