ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids for furnishing the following to the City of Cortez, Colorado, will be received at the office of the General Services Director, City Service Center, 110 West Progress Circle, Cortez, CO 81321, until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read.

BID ITEM: TYMCO 600BAH Sweeper - 60 Month Leas e

The City of Cortez is seeking competitive sealed best value bids for the lease of one (1) TYMCO 600BAH regenerative air street sweeper. All equipment shall be new, unused, and meet or exceed current TYMCO 600BAH factory specifications. Bidders shall provide complete specifications, warranty details, delivery schedule, and lease terms.

Copies of the specifications and instructions for bidders are available at the City Service Center (970.565.7320) and on the City’s website at www.cortezco.gov

Bids shall be submitted in writing and signed by the bidder or its duly authorized agent.

Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, and marked on the outside with “BID – TYMCO

600BAH LEASE” and with the bidder’s name.

The City of Cortez reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the

process of awarding a bid. The City of Cortez reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in

part, and to reject any or all bids if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.

MANDATORY MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Notice is hereby given that all interested parties will be required to meet all minimum requirements to be
considered for this project. Interested bidders should be prepared to show evidence of the following to be
considered as qualified, as a minimum:
1. Authorized dealer or distributor of TYMCO equipment or equivalent; and
2. Provide information on warranty, service, and parts support for the lease term; and
3. Capability to deliver the unit within 120 days of contract execution; and
4. Standard safety lighting, backup camera, and operator controls
5. Contractors meeting the minimum requirements may obtain the bidding documents on the website
accompanying this advertisement.
