GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in

subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes

the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued Paper copies of

this solicitation will not be available.

2. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-07 and DFARS

Change Notice 2024-0926. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and

3. This solicitation is being issued as a(n): Request For Quotation (RFQ)

4. The Navy intends to award a firm, fixed price contract to Ultra Maritime, the original equipment manufacturer, to

performing testing, evaluation, and repairs of the Capstan Drive on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1.

7. The size standard is: $12.5 (Size standards in millions of dollars)

REQUIREMENT INFORMATION:

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from sources capable of providing the following:

. Test, Evaluation, and Repair of Capstan Drive

. Required Delivery Date on or about 11/1/2024

. Place of Performance: Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME (GFP will be shipped to vendor)

METHOD OF PROPOSAL SUBMISSION:

Quotes shall be emailed. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.

System for Award Management (SAM): Vendors must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for

award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/.

All quotes shall include this form filled out in its entirety, any pricing breakdown that explains the quote, and any

technical information needed for technical evaluation.
