Overview
The City of Centerville, in partnership with the Centerville Community Improvement Corporation (CCIC), invites qualified artists to submit their credentials for consideration in creating several small-scale, “sticker style” murals in Uptown Centerville. These murals will be designed to be interactive when possible, encouraging visitors and residents to engage with the artwork and share their experiences.
Unlike prior calls, artists are not required to submit draft designs at this stage. Instead, we are seeking qualifications and examples of past work to identify artists whose styles and experience align with the goals of this project.
Compensation
Artists selected for this project will receive a stipend (amount to be determined based on budget and scope). Lead artists are expected to manage the project and may employ supporting artists, ensuring fair compensation.
Goals of the Project
-
Revitalize Uptown with innovative, high-quality public art
-
Attract residents, visitors, and businesses to Uptown

Provide opportunities for local and regional artists
-
Encourage interactive, photo-friendly installations
Project Details
-
Locations: Five mural sites in Uptown Centerville will be selected by the City
-
Installation: Late fall 2025
