Public Notice: Request for Qualifications for Professional Architectural Services

Searcy County, Arkansas, in partnership with the Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas is seeking requests for qualifications (RFQ) from licensed architects to provide the following services:
• Develop an elevation, floor plan, and cost estimates for the preliminary application phase for the Community Development Block Grant Program through the Arkansas Economic Development Commission for funding to renovate the Searcy County Senior & Activity Wellness Center located at 509 Zach Rd. Marshall, AR 72650.
• Provide architectural services and oversee construction for the project if the grant is awarded.
The application deadline is October 2025. Payment will be made only through the grant if the application is successful. All responses will be evaluated in terms of specialized experience and technical competence; performance, capacity, and capability of the firm/individual to perform work; and familiarity with the project area. Negotiations will begin with the respondent obtaining the highest total score in the evaluation process. The selected firm/individual must be registered in
SAM.gov
.

All interested parties must submit their sealed responses to NWAEDD at the address below before 10:00 A.M. Monday June 2, 2025. Three copies of the sealed proposal packages must be clearly marked and shall be submitted to:

The qualification receiving the highest total points in the proposal evaluation process may be selected for negotiation of contract. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject all RFQs.
