Advanced cleanings of fire fighting ensembles are required twice annually at a minimum according to the 2020 National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1851 standard and for advanced inspections of all elements at least once a year or as needed based on findings found during routine inspections. Number of ensembles range between 28 to 117 pairs.
