Project Description: Sealed proposals for the Warwick Township Culvert Relining and Repairs on Lititz Run Road will be received online via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by Warwick Township until 2:00 PM, Prevailing Time, on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened via PennBid. Warwick Township Board of Supervisors will act on the Bid at their regularly scheduled Meeting on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
The Bids must cover all costs for the completion of this project as set forth in the Project Manual. The principal items of work to be performed under the contract are: 1) protective coating of existing dual 6.5’ x 8’ CMP culvert pipes; 2) structure repairs and coating; 3) installation of flexible baffles; 4) installation of flared-end section at existing 18” SLCPP pipe discharge; 5) minor upstream channel bank grading and R-4 riprap installation; 6) erosion and sedimentation controls; and 7) work of similar nature.

Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required in the form of certified check, cashier’s check, bank treasurer’s check, or satisfactory bid bond made payable to or naming as obligee Warwick Township, Lancaster County. All bids will remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of bid opening in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978.
Bidders are advised that they must comply with All State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. You are required to submit an executed anti-collusion statement with the bid.
The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442 – Session of 1961) shall apply to this project, as defined within the Project Manual, since this contract is estimated to cost more than $25,000.00.
A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract and each with satisfactory corporate surety, will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder at the time stated in the specifications.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Warwick Township Municipal Office (315 Clay Road, P.O. Box 308, Lititz, PA 17543). Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.
Warwick Township hereby reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, or informalities, in bids received, to reject any and/or all bids submitted and to accept any bid which it may deem to be in the best interests of the Township.
