Klamath County and the Klamath County Fairgrounds hereby requests bids from licensed General Contractor’s to
furnish all labor, equipment and materials for the construction of a 2,400-sf shop at 3531 South 6
th
Street. The
base bid work will include all incidental items required to deliver a complete package suitable for occupancy and
operation by the Klamath County Fairgrounds.
Bid Documents will be available for public view on
June 6, 2025,
at the Klamath County Fairgrounds Office, Rhine-

The project will be a public improvement project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, prevailing wages located at

Written sealed bids in envelopes marked

shall be delivered to the front desk of the Klamath County Fairgrounds office or mailed to Derrick Rowley at 3531 South Sixth Street, Klamath Falls, Oregon 97603. Only bids from licensed contractors will be accepted. No bid shall be considered if received later than
2:00 PM, July 8, 2025.
The bids will be publicly opened and read thereafter in the Klamath County Fairgrounds office. Subcontractor disclosure will be due by
4:00 PM, July 8, 2025.
Anticipated date for Notice of Intent to Award will be published
July 15, 2025

SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES:
The project is to construct a new +/-2,400 square foot shop at the Klamath County Fairgrounds. The project will include electrical, water, and sanitary sewer improvements, and also includes earthwork and paving. The general
contractor will be responsible for all aspects of construction necessary for the completion of all work illustrated in the accompanying plan set. On-site work for this project is expected to start
July 29, 2025,
and substantial completion is expected by
November 3, 2025
. Liquidated damages will be incurred at a rate of
$500.00/Day
until final completion of project if work continues past
December 15, 2025
