The Town of Amherst invites written quotations for the procurement of maintenance services for seven (7) Town-owned elevators.
An optional Pre-Bid conference will be held on Wednesday January 21, 2026 at 11am starting at the Town Hall, 4 Boltwood Avenue, Amherst, MA. All bidders are invited to attend.
The Town of Amherst reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and to waive informalities, when at its sole discretion is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town and to the extent permitted by law.

Qualifications:
|
|
Firm must have at least ten (10) years of experience and a proven track record of high quality, professional work in elevator maintenance and services.
Firm must have three (3) references who can document his or her successful completion of projects in the State of Massachusetts.

Special Requirements:
|
|
All service and repair work shall be performed in compliance with the ASME A17.1 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators and subject to inspections by the State.
|
|
