Bids are to include all shipping costs to the point of delivery as indicated above.
The City of Dayton is exempt from payment of federal excise taxes and state retail sales taxes (Ohio Vendor's License No. 57-15847).
Multi-year orders are valid only if funds are available in succeeding years.
State Manufacturer and Model No. of items you are bidding and send DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE on same with your bid. Any brand names on
our bid form are to establish quality levels and do not indicate preference.
The City of Dayton reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in a bid, or to accept the bid or bids which in the judgment
of roper officials, is to the best interest of the City.

Utility Work Machine and Attachments – Bobcat UW56 or Approved Equivalent
1. General Requirements
The City is seeking one (1) utility work machine, Bobcat UW56 or approved equivalent, fully assembled, tested, and
delivered ready for operation.
All equipment shall be new, current production, and compliant with all applicable OSHA and SAE standards.
2. Pricing Requirements
Bid pricing shall be all-inclusive, covering all costs necessary to deliver a fully operational unit, including:
• Dealer preparation, assembly, and inspection
• Freight and delivery
• Installation of all attachments and accessories
• Any tariffs, surcharges, or similar fees
Separate charges for dealer PDI, assembly, freight, or surcharges will not be accepted unless explicitly
requested by the City.
3. Base Machine – Minimum Specifications
Performance & Drivetrain
• All-wheel steer
• Full-time four-wheel drive
• Two-speed transmission
• Independent four-wheel suspension
• Limited slip transaxle
• Horsepower management equivalent to UW56
• Hydraulic dump cargo box
Operator Cab & Controls
• Enclosed cab with factory-installed HVAC
• Adjustable vinyl seating
• Joystick controls with lift arm float
• Tilt steering wheel
• Cruise control and speed management
• Keyless start system
• Standard 5” operator display with:
o Engine temperature and fuel gauges
o Hour meter and RPM
o Fault and warning indicators
o Maintenance notifications and security lockouts

• ROPS meeting SAE J1040 and ISO 3471
• FOPS meeting SAE J1043 and ISO 3449 (Level I)
• Automatic parking brake
• Seat belts with shoulder harness
• Engine and hydraulic shutdown protection

4. Hydraulics & Work Capabilities
• Auxiliary hydraulics with variable flow and dual direction detent
• High-flow hydraulic system equivalent to UW56 high-flow package
