Mitchell Park Library Wall Repair

The Mitchell Park Library exterior wall and interior wall sustained damaged caused by a vehicle. The incident caused significant damage to the library exterior stone wall and interior of the teen area, and includes damage to an exterior window, signage, and hose bibb. The work includes removing and replacing the exterior wall to match the existing adjacent stone wall, removing and replacing the interior wall, removing and replacing window, signage, hose bibb, and removing and replacing all other wall damage to the library caused by incident.

The Mitchell Park Library is part of a joint library and community center facility, serving diverse community needs. The lively space includes public art and supports a wide array of library programming. Mitchell Park Library is LEED Platinum certified and has won multiple awards including New Landmark Library award from Library Journal. The Mitchell Park Library and Community Center facility celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2024.
