The City of Richmond, Virginia (the âCity), on behalf of the Department of Public Utilities (âDPUâ), seeks bids from qualified firms to provide general contracting services to construct a new, 1-million-gallon underground storage tank, for the Cityâs combined sewer overflow system (the âProjectâ). The new tank will capture and store excess flows received at CSO Outfall No. 031 Regulator during wet weather events.The services required include site work, utility, electrical, instrumentation, control work, concrete installation, and other specialties, as required to complete the Project (the âWorkâ).
