1. Introduction

This is a Request for Information (RFI) for market research purposes only. It is not a solicitation for proposals or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted.

The 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing a highly specialized, comprehensive combatives training, certification, and refresher program.

2. Requirement Overview

The primary requirement is to teach, certify, and maintain the proficiency of a 2,500-Soldier Special Forces unit in accordance with United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) standards.

Due to the critical nature of special operations mission readiness, the Government requires instructors who possess highly specialized credentials and direct, long-term operational experience supporting combat operators.

3. Critical Instructor & Experience Requirements

To meet the rigorous, specialized mission standards of the 5th SFG(A), responding sources must demonstrate that their proposed instructional team and organization meet the following key performance parameters:

  • Martial Arts Expertise: The lead/head instructor must hold a 4th Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ).

  • Targeted Past Performance: The contractor must demonstrate verifiable experience delivering this specific tactical curriculum.

4. Requested Information

Interested parties should provide a concise capabilities statement addressing:

  1. Company Profile: Name, CAGE Code, Unique Entity ID (UEI), address, and socio-economic business size (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.).

  2. MACP & SOCP Certifications: Verification of active MACP Level IV Master Instructor and SOCP Instructor credentials for proposed personnel.

  3. Specialized Credentials: Verification of the lead instructor's 4th Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

  4. Past Performance: Evidence demonstrating experience delivering this specific tactical curriculum.

  5. Operational Capacity: Confirmation of your ability to manage and train a 2,500-personnel unit.
