Summary
The Lea County Board of County Commissioners is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide professional services for a roadway improvement project. Services will include a roadway alignment study, right-of-way (ROW) acquisition support, and full roadway design in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements. Background
Lea County intends to construct a new roadway from NM 18 to NM 483 in the north Hobbs area. The project may include:
- Evaluation of existing roadway conditions and constraints
- Assessment of safety, capacity, access, drainage, and environmental considerations
- Identification of alignment alternatives
- Preparation of right of way acquisition surveys and aid in right of way acquisition
- Development of construction-ready roadway plans and specifications
