The Louisiana Tech University Office of Purchasing is now accepting Sealed Bids for Athletic Signage Purchase and
Installation Blanket Bid. This bid will cover the design, production, and installation and removal (if necessary), and repair
of signage for Intercollegiate Athletics for the time period October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027.
The Awarded Vendor must be capable of travelling to Ruston, LA for installation, removal, or repair of signage. The
awarded vendor will be solely responsible for any travel related expenses for any project installation, removal or repair,
such as but not limited to hotel accommodations, meals, per diem costs, etc. Upon request, the Awarded Vendor shall
provide staff to collaborate with University personnel on the development of graphic designs. All designs must be
approved by University staff prior to production or installation.
Units of measure / quantities will be determined per item; vendors are to submit pricing accordingly. Pricing for artwork
and design should be per design type. Pricing for Installation shall be listed per item requested and is to include all
materials, supplies (ties, cabling, turnbuckles, etc), and labor necessary to complete the installation / removal process.
Rental Equipment is listed as separate line items in this solicitation. All projects may not require equipment rentals, but
vendors are required to provide pricing in the event that equipment rental is necessary for the project. All equipment
rentals shall be approved by the University prior to the project installation / removal. If an equipment rental is necessary
for project installation / removal and that equipment is not listed as a part of this solicitation; written approval must be
obtained from the University prior to any work being completed. Vendors are required to provide pricing for the hourly,
daily, and weekly rental of equipment types that have historically been utilized by prior vendors.
The University reserves the right to award items separately, in groups, or on an all-or-nothing basis; whichever is in the
best interest of the University. The University also waives any informalities and also reserves the right to reject any and all
bids.
The Awarded Vendor shall provide itemization / detailed explanation of goods and services on all invoices so that bid items
can be matched to invoiced items. The Awarded Vendor shall also be required to perform repairs as needed. Vendors
shall provide an hourly rate for repair services.
The Awarded Vendor shall also be required to provide the University with a Certificate of Insurance that complies with the
attached 'Insurance Requirements for Contractors' document.
The pricing and services requested through this solicitation will also be made available to other University departments
for the term of this agreement.
Vendors shall complete all pages of this Invitation to Bid, including the printed name and signature of the person
submitting the quotation and pricing on the Schedule of Items page. Bid received without this information shall be
deemed as non-responsive. Vendors are encouraged to include their own quote for an explanation of your proposed
items, BUT this vendor quote shall not be a substitute for this completed Invitation to Bid Form.
