Request for Bids: Trabing Restoration Project Phase 2

The RCDSCC invites contractors to bid on the Trabing Restoration Project Phase 2, an invasive species removal and site preparation effort on a 3.5-acre property known as the Trabing Property that is owned by the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County. This project is permitted through the RCDSCC’s Partner In Restoration streamlined permitting process. See documents below. The project will be a crucial step to remove the standing eucalyptus and the debris piles to provide a blank slate for restoration.

Treatments within the project area will include removal of all eucalyptus trees, direct application of herbicide to prevent resprouting, and removal of existing debris piles. Retaining and promoting native vegetation is a critical project objective. Accordingly, the RCDSCC will accept bids only from contractors prequalified through the Request for Contractor Prequalification: Sensitive Habitat Vegetation Management (2026?2030).
