General Statement of Work
The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate approximately 6,314 LF of sanitary sewer pipes with diameters ranging from 21" to 42" using Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP). CIPP is a trenchless rehabilitation method used to rehabilitate existing sewer pipes without excavation by installing through the existing manholes. It involves inserting a resin-saturated liner into the existing pipe and curing it in place to form a new, structurally sound pipe within the old host pipe. Minor excavation will be required for bypass and manhole cone removal. In conjunction with the CIPP installation, manholes identified on the construction plans and connected to the pipes that are being rehabilitated will be rehabilitated using approved methods and materials. Manhole rehabilitation shall be performed by subcontractors that have been qualified by the manufacturers. This project is part of the capital maintenance sub-program in the current 2022-2027 Six-Year Water Plan.
