The Capital Region Develpment Authority ("CRDA") is seeking proposals from manufacturers and/or suppliers of walk-thru metal detectors interested in supplying new units for Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field (“the Stadium”) in East Hartford, Connecticut. Opening in 2003, the Stadium is a 40,000-seat open-air venue that serves as the home field for the Division I-A University of Connecticut (“UConn”) Husky football program. Currently the second largest natural grass facility in New England, the Stadium also hosts a variety of international soccer matches, as well as rugby, lacrosse and high school football tournaments.
