Project Description: The City of Brownsville, Texas, invites proposals from a qualified and experienced firm to deliver strategic federal consulting and advocacy services. As a vibrant border community experiencing rapid economic growth, Brownsville seeks to advance a forward-looking federal agenda that supports our infrastructure, innovation goals, and overall quality of life.
We are looking for a partner with a proven history of comprehensive federal representation and policy advisory work. The selected firm will enhance the City’s influence in Washington, D.C., cultivate relationships with congressional members and federal agencies, and secure appropriations, competitive and formula grants, and other policy-driven resources in areas such as economic development, aerospace, infrastructure, public safety, digital connectivity, and environmental resilience.
Through this RFP, the City aims to identify a firm with deep expertise in federal processes and a permanent Washington, D.C. presence, capable of providing timely intelligence, focused advocacy, and outcome-oriented strategies. Together, we will leverage federal opportunities to drive transformative projects and deliver tangible benefits for the residents of Brownsville.
