Pre-Solicitation

The Department of Veteran s Affairs will solicit for vendors capable to provide Semi-Annual Elevator Inspection Services for the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC. Contractor shall provide all, materials, hardware, parts, specialized equipment, labor, transportation, personnel, supervision, and technical expertise to perform semi-annual inspections for all elevators as defined in the Performance Work Statement, PWS. Service must be done in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and in pursuant to ANSI/ASME/NASEA. A Request for Quotation, RFQ, will be issued on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Period of Performance is for one base year plus four, 4, option years.

To be eligible for the award, the prospective contractor must be registered in SAM database at http://www.sam.gov at time quote is submitted and comply with the Basis of Evaluation for Award.

If you are an SDVOSB, VOSB or Small Business and plan on subcontracting, please provide a plan to show how your company will provide 51% of the work being performed.

The North American Industry Classification Code, NAICS, is 541350 (Building Inspection Services), Product Service Code is H335 (Inspection-Service and Trade Equipment), and the Size Standard is $11.5 Million.
