Description
Thorhild County is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced firms to develop a Master Plan for Thorhild County Fire Services as described in this Request for Proposal. Thorhild County Emergency Services is aiming to develop a 10-year Master Plan, supporting high-level decision making and providing a framework for fire services based on the county's risk profile, resource needs, population, industry growth projections, and compliance with legislations, industry standards, and best practices. The Master Plan will inform department planning, establish service levels, and provide benchmarks for internal and regional monitoring and evaluation.
Applicants are encouraged to address all areas of the Project Overview in their RFP submission. Include the resumes for staff that will be assigned to undertake the project, as well as references from municipalities where similar projects have been completed.
Consultants are advised that all the following instructions and the conditions of proposals must be strictly complied with, and any non-compliance may invalidate the proposal in question.
All proposal responses shall be written in English.
All rates / pricing is to be in Canadian dollars and Goods and Services Tax separately identified.
Thorhild County shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by the Consultants in the preparation or submission of their responses.

The County reserves the right to request and have supplied any additional information or clarifications. However, if numerous clarifications are required from a potential supplier, their proposal response may be disqualified at the discretion of Thorhild County. Therefore, please ensure that all areas of the proposals are properly and fully addressed.
