Electrical Consultant for SMH Autoline replacement project E382-00

Fraser Health Authority (FH) intends to enter into an agreement with AtkinsRealis for the Surrey Memorial Hospital Laboratory Automation Replacement Project (E382-00). The additional contract value is $20,000 for additional design scope with $72,000 completed for the maximum contract value of $92,000 - plus tax. FH has chosen not to complete an additional competitive process but intends to Direct Award and negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
AtikinsRealis is currently the Electrical Consultant of record for the Project (Surrey Memorial Hospital Lab Automation Project). AtikinsRealis has extensive knowledge of SMH Lab Project and created the documents and specifications and is currently executing the work. AtikinsRealis is registered and complies with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations. AtikinsRealis has professional liability insurance coverage.
Contractors may challenge this decision by sending an email to Carolyn Wiens by March 10, 2025 – 15:00 hours local time.
Provide proof showing your experience related to the requirements defined in this Notice of Intent, qualifications, experience, workplan, insurance coverage, and WorkSafe BC clearance letter. Only challenges from qualified consultants will be reviewed.
