Overhaul of F100-229 8th Stage Stators, NSNs: 2840-01-367-4825, 2840-01-619-8985NZ, 2840-01-367-4826NZ, 2840-01-619-8983NZ, 2840-01-367-4827NZ and 2840-01-619-7379NZ

The Air Force Sustainment center (AFSC) at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City, OK, is soliciting for the procurement of the Overhaul of F-100-PW-229 8th Stage Stators. The contemplated requirement is for a Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract for the F100-229 8th Stage Stator. The period of performance is for 5 one year Ordering Periods. This requirement supports USAF and FMS customers.

This is a Sole-Source Requirement.

Qualifications Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards.

Availability of Funds Clause FAR 52.232-18:

Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.

Additional Information: Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in FAR Part 15, Contract by Negotiation in it's solicitation for the described overhaul. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), Justification: Supplies (or services) required are available from one or a limited number of source(s) and no type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The current source is Pratt & Whitney, CAGE 77445 who is an approved source.
