Purpose: Design, construct, and install fully completed cubicles/offices, modular walls (to include power connection), and carpeting IAW Base Facility Standards to maximize occupancy while ensuring functionality, comfort, and efficiency. The cubicles and offices will be designed to optimize space utilization while maintaining accessibility and adherence to workplace standards. In addition, contractor will be responsible for breaking down and disposing of current office furniture (including power disconnect) and carpeting.
-
Mission: This project aims to provide a practical and efficient office space solution, ensuring that as many employees as possible have designated, comfortable work areas to enhance operational effectiveness and cohesiveness.
-
Performance Objectives:
-
Maximize Occupancy: Arrange cubicles/offices to accommodate the highest number of individuals without compromising workflow efficiency.
-
Functionality: Ensure each cubicle/office provides adequate workspace and power access.
-
Compliance: Ensure adherence to Base Facility Standards, building codes, safety regulations, and ergonomic guidelines.
-
Place of Performance:
EBU Weapons Superiority Division
320 Richard Ray Blvd, Bldg. 300 EW, Door E2
Robins AFB, GA 31098-1811
Building 300, East Wing, Bay E
Rooms E417, E420, and large open bay area
-
Background: The existing office layout does not provide enough individual workspaces to accommodate all employees/supervisors; leading to employees being separated from team and working in less-than-ideal conditions.
-
Operating Constraints:
-
Room Size and Layout: Dimensions of rooms 417 and 420 will limit how many cubicles can fit.
-
Power and Network Access: Additional workstations will require sufficient electrical outlets and internet connectivity.
-
IT Equipment Placement: Space must allow for multiple monitors and other necessary office tech.
