South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (“TransLink”) is responsible for planning, financing and operating the public transportation system throughout Metro Vancouver. TransLink’s operating companies include Coast Mountain Bus Company Ltd. (CMBC), British Columbia Rapid Transit Company Ltd. (BCRTC) and West Coast Express Ltd. Project Summary:
The Metro Vancouver Transit Police (MVTP) operate the See Something, Say Something program, a public safety initiative that enables passengers to discreetly report non-emergency incidents or suspicious activities by texting a short code or calling. This program has been instrumental in enhancing transit safety by allowing passengers to provide vital details to the OCC by text message often accompanied by multimedia such as pictures, videos, or audio files. TransLink is seeking a Contractor to provide a Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) or a Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solution as a replacement for the current platform.

The current vendor solution in use for this program is Cisco Webex Connect/ Engage.
