Product Manager Combat Service Support Equipment

Description
Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) in support of the Product Manager (PdM) Combat Service Support Equipment (CSSE) Program Manager Combat Support Systems (CSS) is seeking Acquisition Lifecycle Management Support; Logistics; Engineering; Manpower, Personnel, and Training; Risk Management; Quality Control; Test & Evaluation; Equipment Fielding and Training; Financial Management; Information Assurance; and Security Support services. The specific requirements and associated tasks will enable respective Team Leads, Project Officers, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to successfully plan and execute acquisition programs in support of validated Marine Corps requirements.
Background
This is a combined effort to facilitate development and staffing of programmatic efforts in support of Program and Milestone Decision Authorities. PM CSS is responsible for all technical and business requirements associated with current and future Marine Corps systems and related programs within its portfolio. This responsibility includes research and development, testing, procurement, and fielding of ballistic protection systems, clothing & equipment, load bearing systems, and cold weather & mountaineering equipment; as well as sustainment/modernization of legacy assets.
Responses
Interested parties are requested to respond to this Request for Information (RFI) with a white paper in Microsoft Word compatible format no later than 8 May 2025, 1:00 PM EST. Responses shall be via e-mail only to: Jessica Munoz, Jessica.m.munoz.civ@usmc.mil and Ebony King, ebony.king@usmc.mil. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
Questions
Questions regarding this announcement shall be submitted in writing via email to Jessica Munoz, Jessica.m.munoz.civ@usmc.mil and Ebony King, ebony.king@usmc.mil no later than 15 April 2025, 2:00 PM EST. Verbal questions will NOT be accepted. Questions shall NOT contain proprietary or classified information. The Government does not guarantee that questions received after 15 April 2025 will be answered.
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes in accordance with FAR Clause 52.215-3 and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid, a Request for Proposal, a Request for Quotation, or an indication that the Government will contract for any of the items and/or services contained in this notice. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Marine Corps is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI and all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Responses may not include classified material. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if one is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the System of Award Management (SAM) website and solicited via Seaport NxG. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
