The Village of Elk Grove Village will receive sealed bids for removal of asbestos containing materials and universal wastes prior to demolition by others of the former hotel building located at 1000 BUSSE ROAD, Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

A non-mandatory pre-bid site walk opportunity will be held on Tuesday August 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time at 1000 Busse Road, Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Contractors shall meet at the front entrance to the former Hotel.

The bid opening will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM, local time at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Ave, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read. All bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Purchasing Division, Elk Grove Village, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, 60007 and marked to indicate the following: “1000 Busse Rd. Hotel Abatement Sealed Bid, Bid Opening August 27, 2026. Do Not Open”
