Sealed bids for construction of the Roof Replacements (Bid# 16-25) will be received by the South
Portland Purchasing Agent (Owner) at the South Portland City Hall, 25 Cottage Road, South Portland,
Maine 04106 until 2:00pm, local time, December 12, 2024 and then at said office publicly opened and
read aloud. Bids submitted after this time will not be accepted. Each Bidder must submit a single
sealed envelope, the outside of which must be clearly marked "Roof Replacements (Bid# 16-25)" with
the name of the entity submitting the Bid. Bids will only be accepted and opened from Bidders who are
registered with the Issuing Office as having obtained a set of the Bidding Documents using the name
appearing in the Bid.
The Work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of the ±400 SF EPDM roof of the West High Pump
Station with additive alternates to replace the roofs of the Western Ave 2 Pump station (±700 SF) and
the screenings building at the wastewater treatment plant (±530 SF).
This Contract is funded in whole by the City of South Portland.
A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held for Bidders at 1:00PM on November 21, 2024 at the City
of South Portland Wastewater Treatment Plant, 2nd floor conference room, 111 Waterman Drive,
South Portland, Maine 04106 with a site visit to follow. Attendance by Subcontractors and Suppliers is
encouraged but is not mandatory.
