Description

This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of Global Affairs Canada (GAC) for translation software and support services.

GAC has offices across Canada and 187 missions around the world and its employees work using many different languages. GAC needs to be able to translate documents quickly, with high accuracy, and in various languages. GAC requires a supplier of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based translation tool and language technology service for an annual subscription to a translation tool that can support up to 2,000 concurrent users which uses neural networks and machine learning technology to continually learn language and improve over time. The tool must provide highly accurate and natural-sounding translations that are contextually relevant to the original language.

It is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract for one (1) year, plus two (2) one (1) year irrevocable options allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract.
