The Town of Apex (“The Town”) is seeking proposals from qualified Medical, Pharmacy, Stop Loss Insurance providers who possess the resources and expertise to insure and administer the Town’s Medical, Pharmacy, Stop Loss Programs.
The Town’s objective in conducting its evaluation are: 1) to offer medical insurance options that are competitive with other local government employers and is tailored to our workforce demographics to ensure a comprehensive benefits package is offered, 2) to lower administrative costs in the management of the plans, 3) demonstrate consistent, efficient and effective plan administration to increase the support and excellent customer service experience for both the town administrators and employees and to 4) provide benefit designs that are cutting edge, cost effective and offer savings for both employer and employees while meeting the health care needs of the population.

Vendors must submit their official responses via secure e-mail. MMA must receive electronic proposals via secure e-mail no later than 3 pm ET on December 13th, 2024. No extensions can be provided. The official determination for whether the RFP has been received on time is the timestamp on the electronic copy of the proposal. The Town will not be held responsible for the failed delivery of any proposal response.
