Description
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of ultrasound transducers, hydrophone scanning system, and RF amplifier equipment from Electronics & Innovation, Ltd. as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and the contractor being the single provider of the goods. The equipment must support focused ultrasound experiments in the 0.5 to 1.5 MHz range, including precise acoustic field measurements necessary for biomedical materials research. The system must include a scanning tank with two motorized axes, water treatment equipment, a submersible hydrophone and preamplifier with frequency response covering 0.5 to 1.5 MHz, and software capable of coordinating motorized movement with data acquisition. The scanning tank must also be compact enough to fit on a benchtop (less than 2 feet in any dimension). An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010, Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Appeals must be submitted to Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management at
