Description
This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for: The Elevator #5 modernization project at the Vancouver Cancer Centre Parkade, located at 600 West 10th Ave., Vancouver and will address current issues with the elevator’s reliability by upgrading and replacing the dated control system and key elevator components to meet current code requirements.
This upgrade will enhance system safety and overall ride quality and reduce the incidents of breakdowns.
Design and construction for the scope below:
• Elevator components, including, but not limited to:
➢New control system, geared traction machine, hoist ropes, elevator speed governor, new push buttons with customizable LCD display, pit stop switch and pit ladder, pit water sensor.
➢Seismic.
The ready-for-takeover date is anticipated to be September 5th, 2025.
