Project Description: The work will involve demolition of an existing trail as specified and redevelopment of the
Riverwalk from near Baylor Law School to Franklin Avenue Bridge and map artwork at the
ground level within Sandtown Plaza, and as part of the alternatives a new trail with one
segment to extend over the water (within the cove), an overlook with an arbor style pavilion
and retaining walls (Webster Overlook), and several water features including a water wall
under the IH-35 bridge. The project will entail grading to achieve the trail length at specified
elevations, extensive lighting and landscaping.
