Description of Intended Products or Services Provided:

The Collier County Public Utilities Department is procuring Master Meter Octave Series Water Meters to accurately measure and record reclaimed water usage for County customers. These meters are to be installed on service connections where reclaimed water is supplied for non-potable uses such as irrigation, landscape watering, and other approved applications. The purpose of this purchase is to ensure precise consumption tracking, support efficient billing processes, enhance water resource management, and promote conservation through reliable metering of reclaimed water use.

The Master Meter Octave Series is selected for its proven accuracy, durability, and compatibility with reclaimed water conditions. All meters furnished under this purchase shall meet or exceed applicable standards for reclaimed water metering, including AWWA specifications where appropriate, and be capable of providing reliable and repeatable measurement over the range of flows typically encountered in reclaimed water service.

Collier County Utilities has multiple Master Meters installed throughout the Water, Wastewater, and IQ distribution systems. Flow meters are critical to a distribution system. These meters are used to measure and track the flows of potable and reclaimed water. Meters are read on a monthly basis and customers are billed for all usage. F.A.C. 62-555 & 62-610 requires all water to be metered.
